Russya erhielt ihren ersten Tanzunterricht im Alter von sechs Jahren und sie kam über Ballett , Jazz und Modern Dance 1987 zum Orientalischen Tanz.
Ihre Grundausbildung begann sie am Zentrum für Orientalischen Tanz in München sowie bei Beata und Horacio Cifuentes und setzte dann ihre Studien im In-und Ausland fort; u.a. bei Sahra Saeeda, Raquia Hassan, Daulat Ibrahim, Hassan Affifi und Mahmoud Reda.
Am Dance Center Iwansson erhielt sie ihre Tanzpädagogenausbildung, absolvierte die "monsun Berufsfachschule für Gesang und Bewegung", studierte Schauspiel am "synapse creative chaos institute" und Gesang bei Prof. Peter Elkus und arbeitet seit mehreren Jahren mit dem javanischen Tanz-und Meditationsmeister Suprapto Suyardamo zusammen.
Sie tritt europa weit als auch in Australien auf Galas, Festivals und in Theatern auf, arbeitet eng mit ägyptischen und türkischen Musikern zusammen und tanzt auf deren traditionellen Feierlichkeiten.
Im Fernsehen war sie bei peep und Nicole zu sehen, als auch in dem Film "Roy´s Welten".
Mit viel Geduld und Humor unterrichtet sie seit über zehn Jahren Workshops und Kurse an verschiedenen Schulen (Tanzoase, Stage School of Music, Dance and Drama, Bundesverband für OT, etc.). Neben klassischer orientalischer Tanztechnik und Choreographie gibt sie auch Kurse zur Förderung der Bühnenpräsenz und Authentizität.

Russya started dancing at the age of six. She was trained in Ballet, Jazz and Modern Dance at the "Dance Center Iwansson" and finally in 1987 she discovered the oriental dance, the beginning of a passion.
She began her studies at "Zentrum für Orientalischen Tanz" in Munich, continued her training with Beata and Horacio Cifuentes in Berlin and deepend her experience abroad with a number of teachers including: Sahra Saeeda, Raquia Hassan, Daulat Ibrahim, Hassan Affifi and Mahmoud Reda.
She studied at "monsun academy of voice and performance" and singing with Prof. Peter Elkus, acting at " SynapseCreativeChaos Institute" in London and has worked with Suprapto Suyardamo, a Javanese master of dance and meditation for several years.
She performs throughout Germany as well as in England, Spain, Sweden, Greece and Indonesia in Galas, festivals and in theatres. She works together with egyptian and turkish musicians performing at traditional celebrations.
She has appeared as oriental dancer a number of times on German television and had a guest appearance in the film "Roy's Welten".

Over the last ten years she has taught courses and workshops in oriental dance technic and choreography, movement and improvisation.
